One rescue dog adoption, a happy birthday, and brunch wedding…we’re sharing colorful updates from our crew today.
Meet Teddy
He’s fluffy. Our graphic design expert, Meg Stinnett added a new rescue dog to her pack just this week. The 10 year-old German Shepard joins Great Dane Subie, and they’re already fast friends. Teddy is a Gemini who appreciates being out and about. In fact, you might spot Teddy on a walk in downtown San Luis Obispo or chillin’ on the Novo patio. He has a bit of a naughty side, especially around steak. It just makes us love him even more.
Meg adopted Teddy from Thulani Senior German Shepherd Rescue, an organization that rescues senior dogs from shelters across California, many of which have been abandoned due to medical issues. Thulani provides free medical care for the life of every adopted animal, so rescuers like Meg can provide a loving home for their pet’s twilight years without worrying about vet costs.
HBD Matt
Our cold brew-obsessed web designer is a year older. A few fun facts about Matt Rice, he has the lowest voice of anyone in the office and has a keyboard app on his phone just for typing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Matt not only designs rad websites for happy clients, he also coaches the Cal Poly drumline.
20|20 Creative Group celebrated his glorious birth the only way we know how, with spicy breakfast sandos. All six of us strolled to Lincoln Deli from our downtown office, chatting about breakfast menus and dogs (you know, the important things in life) along the way. It felt like the unofficial start of summer.
Hungry Like the Wolff
Our resident writer (hey, that’s me!) tied the knot with sweetheart, Mark Wolff on May 19th at Holland Ranch in San Luis Obispo wine country. The short and sweet outdoor ceremony was followed by a decadent brunch of creamy quiche, fresh berries, and lots-o-bacon. We clinked mimosas and never stopped smiling as vinyl Motown tunes floated over the dance floor. It was a dreamy day all around. Shortly after we ventured to Maui for a relaxing week of cycling, sea turtles, piña coladas, and plate lunches. Now we’re back and grateful to be reunited with our precious dingo dog child, Sammy.
